Tasks:

• Developing and implementing purchasing strategies for the direct materials area Analyzing procurement markets and identifying and qualifying suitable suppliers
• Conducting contract and price negotiations with national and international suppliers
• Concluding framework contracts and agreements, taking costs, quality and delivery times into account
• Working closely with development, production and quality assurance to ensure material availability
• Carrying out cost analyses and implementing potential savings
• Monitoring market and technology trends to support the long-term procurement strategy
• Collaboration on cross-divisional projects, particularly in the area of supply chain and process optimization

Skills:

• Degree in business administration, industrial engineering, supply chain management or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in strategic purchasing, ideally in the aviation industry or a comparable environment
• Very good knowledge of contract and negotiation management
• Confident handling of SAP (MM, SD) and ideally experience with SAP S/4 HANA
• Analytical thinking and strong negotiation skills
• Business fluent in German and English
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate across departments
