Project description:

Are you passionate about technology? So are we!
To strengthen our team of experts at our client in the defense industry, we are looking for a Tuner Production Technician / Engineer (m/f/x) for a permanent position at K-tronik.
We look forward to getting to know you personally—and to working together with passion and team spirit on exciting projects and cutting-edge technologies.

Tasks:

  • Responsibility for all production steps involved in the manufacture of high-frequency components (tuners and calibration units)
  • Assembly, commissioning, testing, and documentation of various tuner configurations (e.g., different frequency bands or numbers of channels) for monitoring (MON) and direction-finding (DF) tasks
  • Integration of analog and digital subcomponents—such as filter banks, amplifier circuits, PLLs, clocks, and ADCs—into specific tuner designs
  • Installation and testing of firmware and software (controllers, FPGAs), performing calibrations, and documenting production and test results
  • Conducting extensive functional and quality tests on all assemblies and systems; analyzing and resolving deviations in the lab using high-quality measurement equipment
  • Coordinating production planning with project management and purchasing, and monitoring material procurement
  • Working closely with the tuner design team, digital signal processing experts, and international colleagues at other locations

Qualifications:

  • Completed technical training (e.g., electrical technician or electronics technician (m/f/d) with a focus on radio applications) or a completed degree in engineering (e.g., electrical engineering, communications engineering, high-frequency engineering, or comparable)
  • Extensive experience in the system integration of electronic subsystems (analog/digital circuit design, RF signal paths, interconnect technology)
  • Proficiency in RF measurement techniques and a strong understanding of high-frequency circuits
  • An analytical, structured approach to troubleshooting and the ability to solve problems independently
  • A passion for hands-on, precise laboratory work and the production of high-quality small-batch components
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills
