Are you passionate about technology? So are we!
To strengthen our team of experts at our client in the defense industry, we are looking for a CAD Designer (m/f/x) for Mechatronic Systems in a full-time position at K-tronik.
We look forward to meeting you in person—and to working together with passion and team spirit on exciting projects and cutting-edge technologies.

Tasks:

  • Development and design of our system solutions in the field of radio monitoring (COMINT, C-ESM, C-ECM) using high-performance CAD programs (e.g., SolidWorks)
  • Designing digital models for new mechanical components and developing system-specific schematics for our products
  • Providing support in concept development, component selection, supplier management, prototyping, standards-compliant design, and transition to production
  • Independently communicating with suppliers and monitoring project-specific work
  • Continuously expanding the model libraries in the SolidWorks CAD system and Teamcenter PLM
  • Close collaboration with other departments during the integration process, as well as the identification, evaluation, and implementation of change requests
  • International collaboration with experts from other Saab locations
  • Commissioning, maintenance, and repair at our customers’ facilities

Qualifications:

  • Completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d) or a technical degree, preferably in mechatronics, or a comparable degree or training
  • Practical experience in the design and specification of mechanical and electrical systems, ideally for complex systems used to collect, process, and analyze measurement data
  • Experience using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) and PLM solutions (e.g., Teamcenter)
  • In-depth knowledge of materials science, design engineering, and manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of electrical standards and installation, as well as mechanical standards and design
  • Proficiency in using measurement technology in the fields of mechanics and electrical engineering
  • Enthusiasm for technical systems and an experimental approach to tackling our project tasks using innovative methods and technologies
  • Ability to work independently, analytically, and goal-oriented, along with excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to travel for project meetings and visits to suppliers and customers (<20%)
  • Excellent written and spoken German and good written and spoken English
