To strengthen our team of experts at our client in the defense industry, we’re looking for a Full Stack Developer (m/f/x) for a permanent position at K-tronik.
We look forward to getting to know you personally—and to working together with passion and team spirit on exciting projects and cutting-edge technologies.
Tasks:
Design, implementation, and further development of the software architecture for our Information Fusion System (IFS)
Hands-on development across the entire stack (backend in Java/Python, frontend in React/TypeScript, data storage and integration)
Design and implementation of APIs and backend services, as well as their integration into modern frontend applications
Containerization and operation of applications using Docker, as well as integration into our CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
Working in a Linux-based development environment with modern tools (Git, Jira)
Contributing to the further development of our system architecture
Integration and use of modern AI- and agent-based approaches in our systems
Refactoring and continuous improvement of existing components with a focus on maintainability, performance, and scalability
Close collaboration within an agile Scrum team and active participation in technical decisions
Technical support and mentoring of team members
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable qualification or training
Several years of experience in full-stack software development
Excellent knowledge of Java and experience with front-end technologies (React, TypeScript)
Experience with Python in production or support contexts
Proficiency with Docker and CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins)
Experience with Linux-based systems and development environments, as well as working with Git and collaborative workflows
Understanding of modern software architectures (e.g., microservices, modular systems) and relational databases
Interest in new technologies such as AI and agentic systems
Ability to take on technical responsibility and provide technical support to teams
Passion for hands-on development and sustainable software quality
Very good written and spoken German and good written and spoken English
