Tasks:

• Development and enhancement of modern web front ends for our sensor applications
• Hands-on development using modern front-end technologies (e.g., Angular/React/Vue, TypeScript)
• Further development and maintenance of existing Java-based desktop applications (Swing/AWT)
• Integrating front-ends with back-end services via REST/HTTP APIs
• Refactoring and restructuring existing applications with a focus on maintainability, performance, and scalability
• Implementation and technical refinement of UI/UX concepts in collaboration with subject matter experts
• Optimization of usability, performance, and responsiveness
• Working with modern development processes and tools (Git, code reviews, CI/CD)
• Agile software development in a Scrum team with active participation in technical decisions

Qualifications:

• A degree in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable qualification or training
• Extensive experience in front-end development using modern technologies such as Angular, React, or TypeScript
• Strong knowledge of developing and maintaining Java-based desktop applications is a plus
• Experience integrating front-end applications with back-end services via REST/HTTP APIs
• Proficiency with modern development tools and processes (Git, code reviews, CI/CD)
• A keen sense of UI/UX, usability, and performance and responsiveness optimization
• A structured, self-directed work style, as well as strong teamwork and communication skills
• Very good written and spoken German and good written and spoken English
