To strengthen our team of experts at our client in the radio and communications industry, we are looking for a Development Engineer (m/f/x) in the field of high-frequency technology for a full-time position at K-tronik.
We look forward to getting to know you personally—and to working together with passion and team spirit on exciting projects and cutting-edge technologies.

Tasks:

- Design and development of microwave components and systems for mmWave measurement technology and remote weather sensing in various environments, ranging from ground-based applications to space missions
- Conceptualization and optimization of circuit designs using simulation tools such as AWR, MWO, CST, and HFSS
- Review and validation of assemblies through commissioning, testing, and metrological verification to ensure compliance with specifications
- Independently implementing customer-specific projects in the field of measurement technology
- Your responsibilities range from concept development, technology selection, circuit design, MMIC characterization, and integration to documentation, test planning, and manufacturing qualification
- You will work closely with the manufacturing and technology development teams at RPG and R&S and serve as the point of contact for microwave circuit technology, including related physical and technological issues

Qualifications:

- A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a focus on high-frequency technology, or relevant professional experience and practical expertise in the field of high-frequency measurement technology
- Proficiency in CAE tools such as Microwave-Office/Studio, CST, HFSS, or ADS
- Very good knowledge of analog RF circuit design
- Programming skills (e.g., Microsoft Visual Studio, LabVIEW) are preferred
- An independent and goal-oriented work style combined with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team, creativity, and strong communication skills
- Very good written and spoken English skills
