To strengthen our team of experts at our client in the defense and security sector in Ottobrunn, we are looking for a Software Engineer (m/f/x) – Distributed Simulation & Interoperability for a full-time position at K-tronik. We look forward to meeting you in person—and to working together with passion and team spirit on exciting projects and cutting-edge technologies.
Tasks:
- Development and integration of components for distributed simulation systems
- Design and implementation of interfaces between various simulation components
- Integration of existing models and systems into distributed simulation environments
- Ensuring interoperability and consistent data processing between systems
- Analysis and optimization of performance, synchronization, and data flows
- Coordination with interdisciplinary teams and external partners
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field
- Several years of experience in the field of distributed simulation
- Experience with HLA and/or DIS
- Experience in software development (e.g., C#, C++, or Java)
- Understanding of distributed systems, network communication, and real-time requirements
- Knowledge of software design and system integration
- Proficiency in German and English
