To strengthen our team of experts at our client in the electric mobility and battery technology sector, we are looking for a Senior Test Engineer (m/f/x) for a permanent position at K-tronik.

Tasks:

- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of hardware, software, and systems engineers to develop and validate smart battery sensors and battery management systems (BMS) for automotive applications
- Contribute to the development of safety-critical battery management solutions with a focus on functionality, quality, and safety
- Develop test cases for software and system integration as well as qualification in accordance with the ASPICE and ISO 26262/21434 standards
- Planning, executing, and evaluating test runs for regression and release testing in an agile development environment
- Continuously providing test results and feedback to system and software managers
- Analysis of CAN traces to isolate the causes of errors in failed test cases and customer issues
- Contribution to the further development of the XiL test infrastructure, for example through greater automation of test execution and reporting

Qualifications:

- A successfully completed college degree in an engineering field (software engineering, electronics, mechanical engineering), mathematics, or applied physics
- Practical knowledge of various communication buses (CAN, LIN, SPI, ISOSPI) as well as protocols and standards (e.g., J1939, J1979, UDS)
- Experience in testing embedded software and systems in the automotive sector, as well as knowledge of XiL testing methods (e.g., MiL, SiL, HiL), is a plus
- Knowledge of the ASPICE, ISO 26262, and ISO 21434 standards is desirable
- Enjoy working in a team and possess strong communication skills in English
