Tasks:

- Independently managing preliminary and pre-development projects in the field of complex electronics and systems for the aviation industry
- Requirements engineering, including validation activities in accordance with aviation development processes
- Defining and coordinating requirements for conceptual design, specification, necessary verification, and certification with internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting decision-making and evaluating various conceptual solutions
- Preparation and review of project-specific documents
- Independent planning and execution of tasks while adhering to cost and schedule constraints within an integrated project team
- Conducting or supervising analyses and development tests
- Close technical coordination with electronics hardware manufacturers

Qualifications:

- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field
- Professional experience in the development of complex safety-critical electronic systems—preferably in the aviation sector
- Initial exposure to aviation processes and standards is advantageous
- Proficiency in using common development tools, including requirements management tools, MatLab, and JIRA
- Experience in electronics development at the hardware or software level is an advantage
- Strong assertiveness and execution skills, as well as interpersonal skills
- Very good knowledge of German and English
