Tasks:

• Development, integration and optimization of software components using a real-time critical operating system
• Design and implementation of interfaces for communication between various software components and the real-time critical operating system
• Analysis, design and implementation of operating system-related software, such as device drivers, kernel modules or system services
• Coordinating the content and timing of tasks with the necessary departments
• Carrying out software reviews for requirements analysis and software design
• Evaluating, documenting and communicating the results of the verification process
• Developing strategies and making decisions to ensure that the specifications and requirements for product development are met

Qualifications:

• Completed studies in computer science, electronics or similar qualification
• Experience in the programming of embedded systems and in the independent implementation of technical requirements
• Knowledge of various architecture patterns and their definition and design
• Good knowledge of hardware-related C programming and microcontroller programming
• Dual/multi-core knowledge desirable
• Fluency in German and English

Another plus:

• Knowledge of software development for aviation applications according to DO-178
