To strengthen our team of experts at our customer in the aerospace industry, we are looking for a PLD/FPGA developer for aerospace software (m/f/d) in a permanent position at K-tronik. We look forward to getting to know you personally - and to working together with passion and team spirit on exciting projects and future-oriented technologies.

Tasks:

- Development of PLD/FPGA for embedded systems for aviation applications
- Execution and coordination of tasks for the development of complex software applications
- Implementation of technical requirements and detailed specifications for the optimal use of hardware architecture, assemblies and FPGA control systems
- Support in the definition, programming, commissioning and testing of board support packages for electronic control units and/or applications
- Carrying out PLD/FPGA reviews for requirements analysis and conceptual/detail design
- Evaluation, documentation and communication of verification results
- Creation, testing and evaluation of safety concepts and analyses as well as development of software strategies

Qualifications:

- Successfully completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, electronics or similar qualification
- Proven experience in the development of embedded systems
- Proven experience with PLD/FPGA technology and FPGA tools (e.g. Microsemi, Xilinx or Altera, Libero)
- Knowledge of PLD/FPGA verification, preferably with Modelsim or RivieraPro

Another plus is:
- Experience with model-based software development methods and tools (e.g. Matlab/Simulink)
- Experience in software development in the aviation sector
- Experience in PLD/FPGA development in the aerospace industry (RTCA DO 254)
