Tasks:

- Developing and implementing purchasing strategies for the direct materials area Analyzing procurement markets and identifying and qualifying suitable suppliers
- Conducting contract and price negotiations with national and international suppliers
- Concluding framework contracts and agreements, taking costs, quality and delivery times into account
- Working closely with development, production and quality assurance to ensure material availability
- Carrying out cost analyses and implementing potential savings
- Monitoring market and technology trends to support the long-term procurement strategy
- Collaboration on cross-divisional projects, particularly in the area of supply chain and process optimization

Qualifications:

- Degree in business administration, industrial engineering, supply chain management or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in strategic purchasing, ideally in the aviation industry or a comparable environment
- Very good knowledge of contract and negotiation management
- Confident handling of SAP (MM, SD) and ideally experience with SAP S/4 HANA
- Analytical thinking and strong negotiation skills
- Business fluent in German and English
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate across departments
