We are currently seeking a Software Engineer - Simulation (m/f/x) to join our team for a permanent position at K-tronik, supporting one of our clients in the aerospace & defense sector. Interested? We’re looking forward to your application!


Tasks:

  • Design and develop modules in simulation/validation frameworks
  • Write Rust code for high-performance simulation
  • Build tools for automated test coverage and fault injection
  • Work closely with different teams to capture requirements
  • Debug and profile simulation performance
  • Maintain documentation and testing infrastructure

Skills:

  • Professional experience in the aerospace sector
  • Write modern, maintainable code
  • Experience in simulation, testing or robotics frameworks
  • Comfortable with complex systems and concurrency
  • Care about reliability, performance and safety
  • Like working on the interface between software and hardware
  • Motivated by fast feedback loops and real impact
  • Hardware-in-the-loop or real-time simulation experience (nice to have)
  • Knowledge of flight dynamics or control systems (nice to have)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD for simulation systems (nice to have)
