Tasks:

• Conception, planning and implementation of test strategies and test concepts for complex software solutions
• Development, maintenance and continuous expansion of test automation solutions, in particular for Java-based applications (incl. Swing/AWT)
• Implementation of integration tests and system tests in a server-side, distributed environment
• Analysis and optimization of existing CI/CD pipelines for efficient integration of automated tests (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab, CI)
• Helping to set up robust test infrastructures and integrating automated tests into the development process

Skills:

• Completed technical studies, preferably computer science, electrical engineering or comparable training
• Several years of professional experience in software testing
• In-depth knowledge of test design and the development and operation of test automation systems
• Very good knowledge of Java, including GUI technologies such as Swing and AWT
• Experience with server applications and distributed systems
• Confident use of test automation tools (e.g. JUnit, TestNG, Selenium) and knowledge of build/CI environments (e.g. Maven, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Experience with integration tests and interface tests
• Analytical thinking, high level of personal responsibility and structured way of working
• Fluency in English

Another plus:

• Fluency in German
