Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f/d) Job in München

To support our team at a renowned customer in the aerospace industry, we are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f/d) in Munich for a permanent position at K-tronik. Does that sound interesting? Then we look forward to receiving your application!

Tasks:

• Development and design of mechanical components, assemblies and systems in 3D CAD (e.g. SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Creo, Inventor)
• Creation of 2D drawings, parts lists and technical documentation
• Carrying out tolerance analyses, strength assessments and thermal analyses
• Collaboration with production, purchasing, quality assurance and external suppliers

Skills:

• Degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics (alternatively: technician with relevant experience)
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in mechanical engineering
• Experience in the design and development of cooling systems (e.g. heat exchangers)
• Confident handling of 3D CAD system(s)
• Experience in dynamic thermal modeling of liquid cooling systems
• Experience in the specification of cooling systems
• Ability to manage external development/design partners
• Experience in building mechanical enclosures for electronics in harsh environments
• Knowledge of additive manufacturing processes & associated design requirements
• Knowledge of standardization, materials science, manufacturing technologies & tolerance management
• Good written and spoken German and English skills

Another plus is:

• Several years of experience in mechanical design
