Tasks:

• Preparation of documents in the course of project work for land and water-based radio monitoring and direction finding systems
• Responsibility for organizing the processing, review and publication of documents assigned to a project
• Conception, creation and continuous maintenance of text modules for the various system components and subject areas (e.g. hardware, software, configuration, user manuals, maintenance, repair)
• Determining customer requirements for the documentation, together with the project team
• Consideration of internal specifications and standards and implementation of these, together with quality management
• Configuration control and management with regard to documentation
• Documentation of projects according to company specifications and customer requirements as well as completion of the documents on time and in the required quality

Skills:

• Completed training as a technical writer or technical professional experience with specialization in technical writing/documentation or comparable training with corresponding professional experience
• Experience in the field of document creation and organization based on internal quality and process guidelines and external specifications (contracts, standards, norms)
• Basic knowledge of normative guidelines, such as documentation standard S1000D and STE
  (Simplified Technical English)
• Technical competence and understanding of regulations
• High degree of independence in work planning and independent implementation of tasks
• Willingness to work in a team in your own department and in the project working groups
• Confident communication with internal and external contacts
• Good written and spoken German and very good English skills
