To support our team at our customer in the radio and communications industry, we are looking for a Software Test Engineer (m/f/x) - high-security radio devices for a permanent position at K-tronik as soon as possible. Does that sound interesting? Then we look forward to receiving your application!

Tasks:

• You will work in an agile and cross-location software development team on the latest generation of software-defined radios
• You can expect to create and execute test cases for the code of our development platforms.
• In order to meet our customer requirements, you will test the code against the requirements and work on the automation of tests and test pipelines.
• In addition to the conception and creation of test cases, the documentation of these is also an essential component.

Skills:

• Completed studies in computer science/electrical engineering/communications engineering/physics or comparable professional training
• Advanced knowledge in embedded software development with C/C++, as well as Python and (embedded) Linux
• Knowledge of test management (test methods, test/integration strategies, test design methods)
• Knowledge of configuration management systems (e.g. Git)
• Experience in operating systems (especially network technology) and hardware knowledge (HiL systems, signal analysis, ...) desirable
• Experience in the safety/security environment and knowledge of CMake desirable
• Very good knowledge of German and English
