Senior Design Engineer - EWIS (3D) (f/m/d) Job in Weßling

To support our team at our customer in the aerospace sector, we are looking for a Senior Design Engineer - EWIS (3D) (f/m/d) for a permanent position at K-tronik as soon as possible. Does that sound interesting? Then we look forward to receiving your application!

Tasks:

• Assist with EWIS design activities, including wire harnesses, assemblies and components
• Development of 3D designs, schematics, wiring diagrams and drawings
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high quality designs
• Support the improvement of EWIS processes, guidelines and tools

Skills:

• Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in aerospace, especially in a Part 21J design organization
• Experience in aerospace electrical harness design and routing
• Knowledge of 3D electrical drawing tools such as NX
• Proven ability to integrate design and manufacturing methods into product designs
• Basic knowledge of PDM/PLM systems (Teamcenter or equivalent)
• Fluency in English

Another plus is:

• Good knowledge of aviation standards and specifications such as AC43.13-1B, ATA Chapter 20, ATA 100, S1000D, ARP4754A and DO160
• Good knowledge of rules for wire harness routing and installations (e.g. redundancy, separation, protection, bending radius, fastening, marking)
• Fluency in German
