Supplier Manager R&D (m/f/x) Job in München

To support our team at our customer in the radio and communications industry, we are looking for a Supplier Manager R&D (m/f/x) for a permanent position at K-tronik as soon as possible. Does that sound interesting? Then we look forward to receiving your application!

Tasks:

• As a Supplier Manager, you will act as an interface between the development departments and technical purchasing
• You will work closely with the project managers and product managers to integrate new (technology) suppliers into the development process and to ensure that the suppliers" performance meets expectations and the agreed contracts
• You are the contact person for delivery dates and delivery reliability of the defined focus suppliers and act as an escalation instance
• You maintain an overview of external service provision in development projects
• You take on the cross-project bundling and reporting of current external awards to management
• You will also act in task force teams and provide support for special measures with suppliers in the event of escalations
• Together with the purchasing department, you will identify suitable suppliers based on business requirements and objectives
• You support the procurement process and optimize procedures
• You support the processing of contract amendments/extensions, analysis of existing supplier contracts to identify and implement efficiency and cost improvements

Skills:

• Degree in business administration, business informatics, industrial engineering or a comparable field of study
• Several years of experience in supplier management, e.g. in technical purchasing or development
• In-depth understanding of product development processes in the hardware and software sector
• Strong technical background and understanding of processes
• Very good knowledge of quality/process methodologies in relation to development service providers
• Very good communication and presentation skills in German and English
• High analytical and conceptual skills
• Structured and independent way of working, reliability, agile mindset
• High level of service orientation and enthusiasm for working with project managers, development department heads and purchasing
• Strong teamwork and cooperation skills
