Tasks:

• Development and verification of embedded software for highly complex and high-performance software systems for safety-critical aircraft applications in accordance with DO 178B/C (including certification)
• Carrying out requirements analyses, designs (UML), coding (C/C++, assembler) as well as integration, verification and configuration or change management
• Collaboration with customers and suppliers, including technical management and cooperation with other departments and locations
• Carrying out assessments and evaluations of tasks with regard to technical aspects, time expenditure and skills and monitoring and monitoring these in accordance with the applicable specifications
• Leading a sub-project team as work package leader (m/f/d) in the context of device development Creation of project-specific SW planning
• Checking and creating schedules, cost and capacity plans, coordinating priorities, defining interfaces
• Carry out target/actual comparisons, initiate corrective measures if necessary.
• Provide support in the selection of suppliers and development partners and in the drafting of contracts
• Coordinate and monitor development partners and accept development results from development partners

Skills:

• Completed studies in electrical engineering/computer science or comparable training/studies
• Experience in the development of software architectures for real-time systems
• Experience in hardware-related software development and programming skills in embedded C
• Experience with embedded operating systems, Ethernet and CanBus
• Knowledge of the ClearCase, DOORS and Rhapsody tools
• Analytical and independent way of working
• High willingness to learn, curiosity, ability to work in a team, initiative and communication skills Creativity and innovative spirit
• Fluency in German and English

Another plus:

• Experience in project leadership or project management
• Knowledge of C++
• Knowledge of French
