To support our team at our customer in the radio and communications industry, we are looking for an Embedded Python Tester (m/f/x) for a permanent position at K-tronik as soon as possible. Does that sound interesting? Then we look forward to receiving your application!


Tasks:

  • Definition and creation of software tests in Python for embedded devices, as well as integration into the CI environment
  • Development and maintenance of the test framework and test infrastructure
  • Creation and maintenance of documentation on software quality
  • Collaboration in an agile development team
  • Coordination with software development and other development teams (firmware, hardware)
  • Integration of software modules in devices
  • Execution of software tests and functional tests on the device
  • Verification of the software through measurements on the hardware
  • Supporting the integration of devices into the overall system

Skills:

  • College/University Degree
  • Basic knowledge of communication protocols
  • Software development (focus on testing and integration)
  • Basic knowledge of software configuration management system (preferably Git)
  • Software quality assurance
  • Basic knowledge of object-oriented software development
  • Basic knowledge of C/C++
  • C#
  • Python
  • Basic knowledge of Linux (embedded)
  • systemd/dbus
  • Experience in the safety/security environment
  • Digital circuit technology
  • ISTQB certification
