Tasks:

• Development and maintenance of distributed software modules, with a focus on back-end development
• Monitoring these modules with the help of technologies such as Prometheus / Grafana
• Introduction of new functions, such as the introduction of new classifiers or other algorithms into the overall system
• Adding new functions to the UI, such as the graphical display of measurement data or the maintenance of database tables
• Creation of automated system tests including rollout on corresponding virtualized test systems
• Agile software development using the Scrum methodology

Skills:

• Completed technical studies (computer science, electrical engineering or comparable) or completed training as an IT specialist with relevant professional experience
• Very good programming skills in Java
• Several years of professional experience in the development of back-end modules and server applications
• Very good knowledge of object-oriented programming
• Experience with monitoring tools, preferably Grafana and Prometheus
• Good knowledge in the development of distributed systems
• High quality awareness and good communication skills
• Very good written and spoken English skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally

another plus would be:

• Good knowledge of German
• Experience in SW testing and CI/CD
