As a Tooling Developer you are a versatile all-rounder in a development team for embedded software in the field of drive systems. The main area of responsibility is the programming of software tools and the improvement of processes and workflows, but may also include tasks in testing, integration and embedded programming. Tasks:

• Programming of tools and user interfaces for embedded software development
• Definition of interfaces and communication architectures in collaboration with system engineering
• Supporting the creation of models for system functionalities and system requirements
• Improvement of the development process and expansion of model-based software development
• Identification, evaluation, selection and introduction of new tools and process steps
• Supporting our test bench team during initial commissioning, testing and integration
  

Skills:

• Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering or comparable training
• Good knowledge of a scripting language, preferably CAPL or Python
• Professional experience in embedded software development, e.g. microcontroller programming, testing, commissioning
• Sound knowledge of software development along the V-model
• Coding skills in C/C++, C# or a comparable high-level language
• Good knowledge of bus systems (CAN, LIN, FlexRay) and communication architectures
• Good knowledge of German and English

is another plus:

• Good knowledge of RTOS
• Experience in model-based software development
