Software/ System Test Engineer (m/f/x) Job in München

Project description:
Become a part of our team and work with state-of-the-art measurement equipment. As Software/ System Test Engineer (m/f/x) you will play a key role in monitoring, evaluating and performing analyses of test failures and actively improve the existing test infrastructure.

Tasks:

• Monitoring and evaluating the results of continuous testing for baseband applications of vector signal
  generators
• Maintenance of test systems comprising of state-of-the-art measurement equipment (signal
  generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, GNSS/radar receivers) and Windows based hosts
  running supporting applications
• Development of in-depth systems knowledge
• Performing analysis of tests failures and supporting the development teams in the reproduction and
  debug of issues
• Documentation of issues in defect reports and performing follow-ups to ensure timely resolution
• Accurate and detailed communication of test results including defects to internal customers
• Test development and maintenance of existing tests
• Participation in team topics regarding improvement of test infrastructure and services
  

Skills:

• Completed degree in electrical engineering, computer science, communications engineering or
  a comparable professional qualification
• At least 2 to 3 years of domestic work experience
• Intermediate knowledge of software quality assurance. ISTQB CTFL desired
• Proficiency in Python programming language
• Basic understanding of object-orientated programming languages
• Hands-on system administration experience for Windows hosts
• Basic understanding of communications protocols
• Basic understanding of test and measurement devices
• Basic understanding of using test and measurement devices e.g. signal generators, spectrum
  analyzers, oscilloscopes
• Strong customer and service orientation
• Engaged, dedicated team player
• Self-directed approach to work
• Strong organizational skills
