Project description:
As a development engineer (m/f/x) for electronic systems, you will work on a wide range of tasks in technical product development. On the one hand, you are responsible for customer support of aviation systems, on the other hand, you contribute your work results to the internal development and improvement processes.

Tasks:

• Development of electronic aviation systems as well as product support throughout the entire life cycle
• Definition of system requirements and drafting of system architectures (e.g. using MBSE)
• Conception and design of system components and ensuring traceability
• Close coordination of development activities with specialist departments, suppliers and customers
• Documentation, evaluation and communication of product support and development results
• Support in project management and system validation

Skills:

• Successfully completed studies in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering or similar qualification
• Experience in the development of electronic components
• Knowledge of methods and tools of systems and requirements engineering, e.g. DOORS, MBSE, UML
• Good knowledge of Matlab/Simulink or a common programming language
• Practical experience in safety-critical product development (e.g. ISO26262, DO-254, MIL-STD)
• Communicative and customer-oriented working style as well as willingness to travel on business
• Good knowledge of German and English
