Tasks:

• Development of PLD/FPGA for embedded systems for aerospace applications
• Execution and coordination of tasks for the development of complex software applications
• Implement technical requirements and detailed specifications for optimal use of hardware architecture, boards and FPGA control systems
• Define, program, commission and test board support packages for electronic control units and/or applications
• Perform PLD/FPGA reviews for requirements analysis and conceptual/detailed design
• Evaluation, documentation and communication of verification results
• Creation, testing and evaluation of safety concepts and analyses
• Development of software strategies

Skills:

• Successfully completed studies in the field of computer science, electrical engineering, electronics or similar qualification
• Professional experience in the development of embedded systems
• Experience with PLD/FPGA technology and FPGA tools (e.g. Microsemi, Xilinx or Altera, Libero)
• Knowledge of PLD/FPGA verification, preferably with Modelsim or RivieraPro
• Good knowledge of MS-Office programs
• Analytical and structured way of working
• Profound knowledge of German and English

another plus is

• Experience in software development in the aerospace sector
• Experience with model-based software development methods and tools (e.g. Matlab/Simulink)
• Knowledge of PLD/FPGA development in aerospace (RTCA DO 254) or similar
