Developer (m/f/x) Test Automation Job in Erlangen

To support our team at our customer in the medical technology sector, we are looking for a Developer (m/f/x) Test Automation for a permanent position at K-tronik as soon as possible. Does this sound interesting? Then we are looking forward to your application!

Tasks:

• Implementation of test systems as well as automatic test sequences for components based on the existing framework:
  - Development of test sequences, libraries and VIs
  - Setup of test racks with measurement devices and components from National Instruments
  - Programming with TestStand and Labview software
  - Collaboration in the development of electronic assemblies to control the component under test
• Documentation of the test environment and archiving of the documentation
• Coordination of requirements for the test environment with the assembly developers
• Execution of component release tests based on the created test environments with documentation of the test results

Skills:

• Completed studies in medical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering or comparable studies, alternatively technician with similar background
• Broad measurement technology know-how and its manual and automated application with National Instruments LabView and test bench
• First experience in product development and testing of electronic assemblies
• Working in teams with a high degree of cooperation, ideally experience in an agile development environment as a developer
• Experience in testing medical devices and their relevant standards or in industries with similar regulatory requirements (e.g. automotive or aerospace) is desirable
• First experiences with requirement management and documentation in the context of the V-model are desirable
• Good knowledge of NI TestStand and LabView and related tools from National Instruments as well as associated hardware
• Knowledge of software development and design; ideally of test software
• Basic knowledge in testing hardware & software (analog and digital signals as well as protocol based interfaces like PROFINET, USB, CAN, TCP/IP, etc...)
• Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
