Tasks:

• Development of high-performance FPGAs in the safety-critical aerospace environment (DAL A)
• Draft, design and verification of digital circuits
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams along the entire development process
• Preparation of aviation specific documentation according to DO-254 and internal safety standards
• Commissioning and debugging of developed digital modules
• Technical consulting, testing and acceptance of development services of external partners

Skills:

• Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, computer science, aerospace or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the development of complex FPGAs
• Good knowledge of modern FPGA technologies (e.g. Igloo) as well as in VHDL or Verilog
• Hands-on experience in the application of safety standards in digital development (e.g. ISO26262, MIL-STD, DO-254)
• Knowledge of IBM DOORS or a comparable requirements management tool
• Knowledge of high speed design
• Fluency in English

another plus would be:

• Experience with the following tools: EMA Timing Designer, Microsemi Libero, Mentor Graphics Modelsim and/or HDL Designer
• German language skills
• Work experience in aerospace and in the application of DO-254
