We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer with expertise in high-speed electric machine design and electromagnetic development to join our innovative team and help shape the future of urban e-mobility.


  • Responsible for the design of high speed electrical machines
  • Utilize 2D electromagnetic simulations to optimize performance and efficiency
  • Work closely with power electronics and control engineers
  • Coordinate with mechanical engineers and test engineers
  • Communicate with suppliers and coordinate development activities
  • Specify system, subsystem, and component interface requirements in accordance with ARP4754
  • Support system validation and verification in accordance with DO-160
  • Development of series production processes and process standardization between departments
  • Assist with ad-hoc related tasks or projects as provided by management
  • Part of an integrated team for the development of electrical machines and their integration into overall systems


  • M.Sc./Eng. or PhD in electrical engineering or a related field
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in the development of electrical machines
  • Experience with 2D FEM tools such as Altair Flux, Motorcad or ANSYS Maxwell
  • Practical experience with Matlab/Simulink and/or Python
  • Good knowledge of partial discharge and insulation materials
  • Strong motivation to contribute to the design of structures and processes
  • High degree of independence with the ability to work both in a team and autonomously
  • Goal-oriented, driving approach with analytical problem solving skills required
  • Fluency in English

Another plus is:

  • Experience in electrical machinery manufacturing and testing
  • Experience and/or formal training in supplier management and technical project management
  • Knowledge of semiconductor technology and power electronics
  • Experience in requirements management tools such as Siemens Polarion or IBM Rational DOORS
  • fluency in German or another language
