Software development for safety-critical aircraft applications is your passion? We are looking for a dedicated developer for highly complex software systems. You will take over the implementation of requirements into modular system architectures, develop prototypes and take care of the integration into the hardware environment.

Tasks:

• Development and verification of embedded software for highly complex as well as high performance software systems for safety critical aircraft applications according to DO-178C / DO-330 / DO-331
• Requirement analysis and development of SW architectures for platform products
• Conversion of requirements to prototypes and production-ready software
• Integration & verification of the developed software in the hardware environment
• Analysis & reuse of existing SW architectures and designs
• Collaboration with customers and partners, including technical leadership and cooperation with other departments
• Support of project specific software planning
• Support of schedule, cost and capacity plans, coordination of priorities, definition of interfaces

Skills:

• Bachelor"s or Master"s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in software development and design of software architectures for embedded systems
• Professional experience in the development of safety-critical aviation software according to DO-178 or comparable standards
• Good knowledge of real-time operating systems, embedded systems and microcontrollers
• Basic knowledge of IMA (Integrated Modular Avionics) or platform technology (e.g. ARINC 653)
• Experience with software design patterns and principles
• Good programming skills in embedded C and/or assembly language
• Familiarity with software development tools and processes (configuration management, JIRA, Agile, and Scrum)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Fluency in English
