Project description:
As development engineer for integrated digital circuits you will support our team at a customer in the field of measurement technology. You will work on the new and further development of highly complex digital ASICs for next-gen oscilloscopes and signal generators.
Tasks:
- Digital ASIC design in 7/16nm technologies and system clock rates up to 1.33GHz
- Circuit entry; RTL coding and graphical code entry
- Documentation of the created circuits
- Functional verification by simulation incl. code coverage
- Formal verification with SystemVerilog and UVM
- Physical synthesis, constraining and timing analysis
- Linting and design rule checks
Skills:
- Completed studies in electrical engineering or comparable
- At least 2-3 years of professional experience in the development of digital circuits (ASICs / FPGAs)
- Good knowledge of ASIC/FPGA design flow (coding, simulation, synthesis)
- Practical experience in the development of digital ASICs
- Experience with common development tools for simulation, synthesis and version control
- Good knowledge of VHDL, tcl and Python
- Good knowledge of digital signal processing
- Fluent English and basic German language skills (min. A2)
another plus is
- Experience with HDL designer, Synopsys toolchain (VCS, Design Compiler NXT, SpyGlass) or Aldec Riviera / ALINT
- Good Matlab knowledge
