Technical Editor (m/f/x) Job in München

Project description:
To support our team at our customer in the field of measurement technology, we are looking for support in the area of technical editing as soon as possible. With good technical understanding and expertise in technical editing and in dealing with editing systems, you will contribute significantly to the success of the development.

Tasks:

• Editing of customer manuals according to military standard S1000D (in English/German language) and others
• Editing system EAGLE, xml editor, Corel Designer, COSIMA
• Revision of inventory documentation with new safety instructions
• Proofreading of technical texts and optimization of existing documentation for single-source-
  Publishing
• Preparation/control of downstream production processes (printing, CD creation),
  Data management
• Change management

Skills:

• Degree in technical communication or engineering with additional training as a technical writer, or similar qualification
• Professional experience in the field of technical documentation preferred
• Advanced German and English language skills, both written and spoken
• Experience with the S1000D standard and editorial databases
• Committed, active, independent and team-oriented way of thinking and working
