To support our team at our customer in the medical technology sector, we are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/x) in a permanent position at K-tronik as soon as possible. Does this sound interesting? Then we look forward to receiving your application!

Tasks:

• Realization and verification of embedded SW for control and image processing in interventional radiology systems
• Creation and implementation of requirements and concepts for new developments as well as enhancements of existing components
• Integration on subsystem and system level
• Support, error analysis and optimization of existing implementations
• Support of the system test center, production, customer and customer service
• Creation of documentation accompanying the development
• Creation and execution of manual and automated tests
  

Skills:

• Completed studies in electrical engineering, information technology or comparable
• Professional experience in hardware-related embedded SW development in complex systems
• Specific knowledge in the areas of electronics, microcontrollers, PC/Windows - here especially also Windows kernel-mode driver development - and C/C++
• Ideally experience in FPGA&VHDL design, PCIe, USB and Ethernet
• Good knowledge in SW source control systems as well as installation & update concepts
• Test architecture & design as well as continuous integration experience are desirable
• Working in international teams with a high degree of cooperation, ideally experience in an agile development environment as a developer
• Ideally you have already worked in a regulated, preferably medical environment
• Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Structured and independent way of working even with complex tasks
• Communication skills
