Verification and Characterization Engineer (m/f/x) ASIC/MMIC Job in München

For an exciting position with a renowned customer in the radio and telecommunication industry we are looking for an electrical engineer for the qualification and characterization of mixed-signal ASICS and MMIC. Tasks:

• Performance of complex RF measurements in coaxial environment and with wafer prober up to 130 GHz
• Documentation, result analysis and calibration deembedding
• Automation of complex RF measurement setups with Matlab
• (Re-)design of the measurement hardware
• Data analysis and debugging of the DUT/measurement setup together with the design team

Skills:

• University degree in electrical engineering or comparable education
• Experienced in the development and/or verification of mixed-signal ICs (DACs, ADCs, RF-Frontends)
• Good knowledge of RF-engineering in a range of 20-70 ghz
• Skilled in object-oriented programming with Matlab
• Knowledge of RF measurement techniques, e.g. calibration, deembedding, measurement equipment
• Hands-on attitude and solution oriented work-style
• Fluency in English

another plus is

• Practical experience working with a wafer prober
