To support our team at our customer in the aerospace sector, we are looking for a PLD/FPGA Engineer (m/f/x) for a permanent position at K-tronik as soon as possible. Does this sound interesting? Then we are looking forward to your application!


Tasks:

  • Development of PLD/FPGAs for embedded systems in the aerospace sector
  • Conversion of technical requirements and specifications into digital circuit designs
  • Execution of design reviews and verification of PLDs/FPGAs
  • Evaluation, documentation and communication of verification results
  • Creation, testing and evaluation of safety concepts
  • Supporting the development of hardware-related software applications in multidisciplinary teams

Skills:

  • Successfully completed studies in the field of computer science, electrical engineering, electronics or similar qualification
  • Professional experience in FPGA development with VHDL or Verilog
  • Practical knowledge with ModelSim, Xilinx Vivado, RivieraPro or comparable tools
  • Experience in developing safety-critical products according to standards such as DO-254, MIL-STD, ISO26262, etc.
  • Programming skills in C/C++ and Matlab/Simulink
  • Very good English skills and solid German skills (min. B1 listening comprehension)
  • Analytical and structured way of working and ability to work in a team

a further plus

  • Scripting knowledge (e.g. Python, Perl, tcl)
  • Experience in the aerospace industry, especially with DO-254
