To support our team at our customer in the automotive sector, we are looking for an HMI developer (m/f/x) for a permanent position at K-tronik as soon as possible. Does that sound interesting? Then we look forward to receiving your application!


Tasks:

  • Conceptual layout and design (active and/or coordinating) of the human-machine interface (HMI)
  • Requirement-based development of GUI series concepts (operating, display and dialog concepts, golden rules, style guides, etc.)
  • Documentation and specification of HMI concepts as interface function to other departments (e.g. in form of state charts, widget catalog, animation catalog, wireframes, etc.), incl. support of HMI concept implementation
  • Coordination of HMI specification documents with external partners (support of concept development) and external suppliers (responsible for concept implementation)

Skills:

  • Successfully completed studies in the field of media informatics, engineering (mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, electrical engineering), computer science, interaction/information design or a comparable field with a focus on human-machine interaction and ergonomics
  • Several years of professional experience (at least 3 - 5 years) in the conception and design of comprehensive interface solutions, preferably in the commercial vehicle or automotive sector
  • Very good knowledge in the areas of ergonomics, usability and user-centered development methods
  • Ability to coordinate and moderate cross-functional work teams (e.g. interdisciplinary composition of internal subject matter experts on the part of HMI, design, EE and external service providers/suppliers)
  • Structured, analytical and independent way of working
  • Knowledge in project management and regarding agile development processes is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • Profound knowledge of MS Office products (e.g. Visio) and software for graphic design
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
