Project description:
As a Development Engineer - Electrical Machine for the Propulsion System, you will be part of an interdisciplinary Team responsible for the design of various components of a state-of-the-art eVTOL. From mechanical or composite parts design to mechanical systems development you will play a key role in bringing an innovative aircraft to life.

Tasks:

• You are responsible for the design of a high-performance electrical motor and optimize required aerospace parts and assemblies throughout their lifecycle
• You will develop motor specification documents and be responsible for requirements engineering
• You will work on simulating and analyzing motor performance
• You will work together closely with engineers of other disciplines, especially regarding manufacturing of your designs

Skills:

• University degree in Aerospace or Electrical Engineering
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the aerospace industry
• Strong knowledge of motor design and electrical machines
• Background in aerospace requirements/systems engineering and ARP4754
• Basic knowledge of PDM/PLM systems is required
• Knowledge of DOORS or a similar requirements management tool
• Fluent English skills
• Excellent understanding of general design principles and technical correlations
• Strong motivation to help build structures and processes

also beneficial would be:

• Experience in designing integrated electronics products or actuators
• Experience with Teamcenter is beneficial
• German or any other language skills
