Project description:
As a Hardware Board Design Engineer you support the development of safety critical hardware and software components. Our team designs, develops and offers support for customized high-performance embedded solutions in the markets of aerospace and defense.
Tasks:
- Creation or update of a mixed signal board design
- Development of electronic circuits according to internal aeronautical development standards (stress analysis, tolerance analysis, design justification) based on board level requirements and design ideas
- Analog simulation of different functions
- Taken into account the EMC constraints
- Implementation of design into schematics (tool: ZUKEN CR 8000)
- Definition of layout constraints for established circuits
- Verification of developed circuits on perfboards
Skills:
- Analogue circuit design in aeronautical domain for inflight equipment (experience of at least 6-10 years)
- Mixed signal design (e.g. LVDT, Frequency acquisition, ADC design, digital cores e.g. TMS320, memory design e.g. DDR3, data bus design e.g. RS422, ...)
- Analytical design methods (tolerance analysis, stress analysis)
- Circuit simulation (e.g. PSpice, LTSpice)
- Usage of schematics and layout tools (e.g. Zuken C8000)
- Verification of analogue circuits
- English level of at least B2 (CEFR)
- German or French skills are helpful, but not mandatory
- DO254 process and avionics process expertise (standards, requirements, traceability, etc.)
