Project description:
In this position you will have a chance in working on state-of the art mobility solutions in the aviation domain. You will develop and certify system and components in co-ordination with regulatory partners/suppliers for an ambitious eVTOL project.

Tasks:

• As an owner of a software package, you will participate in system-, safety-, architecture- and software development activities
• By defining requirements for subsystems and components, you will contribute to system planning activities
• You will define functional architecture of the system using MBSE/MBD approach, develop interfaces and define work-packages
• You will architect and design safety critical software
• You will work closely with other departments and external suppliers to align in the development process

Skills:

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering or comparable
• Experience in software development and certification activities according to DO-178C / DO-331
• Profound experience in ATA 34/ATA 42 or ATA 27 system development
• Experience in stakeholder and supplier management
• Good knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink
• Good knowledge of avionics communications and standards (ARINC 653, ARINC 664, ARINC429, ARINC825)
• Target-oriented, driven workstyle with analytic problem-solving skills required
• Fluent English language skills

further desired qualifications:

• Involvement in EASA/FAA (or other similar national agencies) audits (SOI1-SOI4)
• Fluent German or any other language
