Project description:
In this position you will have a chance in working on state-of the art mobility solutions in the aviation domain. You will develop and certify system and components in co-ordination with regulatory partners/suppliers for an ambitious eVTOL project.
Tasks:
- As an owner of a software package, you will participate in system-, safety-, architecture- and software development activities
- By defining requirements for subsystems and components, you will contribute to system planning activities
- You will define functional architecture of the system using MBSE/MBD approach, develop interfaces and define work-packages
- You will architect and design safety critical software
- You will work closely with other departments and external suppliers to align in the development process
Skills:
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering or comparable
- Experience in software development and certification activities according to DO-178C / DO-331
- Profound experience in ATA 34/ATA 42 or ATA 27 system development
- Experience in stakeholder and supplier management
- Good knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink
- Good knowledge of avionics communications and standards (ARINC 653, ARINC 664, ARINC429, ARINC825)
- Target-oriented, driven workstyle with analytic problem-solving skills required
- Fluent English language skills
further desired qualifications:
- Involvement in EASA/FAA (or other similar national agencies) audits (SOI1-SOI4)
- Fluent German or any other language
