Project description:
As an Embedded Verification Engineer, you will work on airborne software for the next-generation aircraft where you will be involved in all aspects of the verification process. Your task is to prove that state-of-the-art electronics systems meet the strictest safety requirements.


  • You develop and verify safety-critical systems for eVTOL aircraft
  • You are responsible for verifying safety-critical software in accordance with DO-178C and DO-331
  • You will participate in requirements validation, simulation and verification activities
  • You will develop efficient test cases and realize them in automatic test procedures
  • You will execute tests in Model-in-the-loop and Hardware-in-the-loop (Speedgoat) environment
  • You will execute various analysis (structural coverage, model coverage, test coverage, WCET, resource utilization)
  • You cooperate with system, hardware and software development teams


  • Completed studies in Computer Engineering or Software Engineering
  • Experience in developing embedded safety-critical systems in the aerospace, automotive, medical or transportation field
  • Good understanding of requirements management principles, V-Model and configuration control
  • Strong expertise in Matlab/Simulink environment
  • Knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, RS-232/422/485, Ethernet)
  • Target-oriented, driven workstyle with structured problem-solving skills
  • Fluent English language skills

  • Expertise in Simulink Test and Speedgoat
  • Knowledge of DO-178C and DO-331 norms
  • Fluent in German
